The Whale Shark Tour package in Sumbawa is one of our high request for trips from Lombok Island. We are able to arrange the transportation from Lombok to Labuan Jambu Village, so it would be easy for you to join this tour. Usually, this amazing creature are easier to find at 6 am early morning when the fisherman of BAGAN BOAT lift their nets at that time. A flock of Whale Sharks will appear because along with the net being lifted, there be lots of planktons. Plankton is the food of Whale Shark!

Sumbawa Whale Shark Tour Itinerary (Start & Finish Lombok)

Day 1: Overland Lombok – Sumbawa

• 10.00 We will pick you up at Lombok Airport/Mataram City/Senggigi Area, then head to Kayangan Port, East Lombok
• 12.00 Arrive at Kayangan Port then cross to Poto Tano Port
• 14.00 Arrive at Poto Tano Port, than continue road trip to Labuan Jambu Village for next 5 hours
• 20.00 Arrive in Labuan Jambu Village, check in hotel and take a rest

Day 2: Snorkeling With Whale Shark – Transfer Out To Lombok 

• 03.30 Pick up at your hotel, then use a traditional boat to the Saleh Bay Area.
• 05.30 Arrival at a floating fishing platform with strong lights (bagan), and looking for the bagan that have The Whale Sharks
• 06.00 It’s time to snorkeling and swim with the whale sharks (breakfast on the boat)
• 08.00 Back to Labuan Jambu Village.
• 10.00 Arrival at Labuan Jambu then take a rest for moment and go back to Poto Tano Port
• 15.00 Arrive at Poto Tano Port then cross to Kayangan Port
• 17.00 Arrive at Kayangan Port, East Lombok, and we will drop you off to your hotel in Lombok at Mataram City/Senggigi Area
• 19.00 Arrive at your hotel, end of program!
